Who We’ve Helped
Kit and Cora
These two girls spend quite a bit of time outdoors. Lucky for them, they have a loving caretaker who wants to make sure they are happy and have good quality of life.
Dozer and Macy Gray
We first saw Dozer in an ad his caretakers had posted to find him a new home. In the picture he was lying on ice and snow with a heavy chain and padlock attached to his neck…
Ebony
Ebony’s caretaker contacted Straw For Dogs for help―as a nursing student she is gone long hours during which Ebony was outside…
Luna
Luna was the first dog whose life was changed by Straw For Dogs. Straw For Dogs began with an ad placed on Craig’s List offering doghouses and straw for dogs living outside…
Grease
Grease is a former sled dog who has completed the Iditarod 5 times! He is now adopted into a retirement home with a kind caretaker.
Diva and Damion
Their caretakers contacted us for help with doghouses, as they live in a very small space with 4 dogs and the dogs spend time outdoors.
Hoss
Hoss was found by a Good Samaritan, with an old rope tied around his neck. This senior boy was scared and unsure, but took shelter while his kind hearted caretaker put up found flyers and had him checked for a microchip-his former family was never found.
Pixie
Pixie lives with two seniors who really love her and she gets free run on their rural property…
